Kaylinism VI

The other day on the way home from school I told Kaylin that we were going to go over to Tucker's (friend) house that evening. She responded by saying "I've got a headache and I think I'm going to have it for a really long time." This was funny in itself but I felt the need to dig. I asked her "What does that mean?" To which she responded with the following question. "What does it mean when you get headaches?"

Oh my goodness - I laughed hard. Where does she come up with these zingers. Although she didn't really understand the zinger. I kept laughing and she kept asking me to tell her what it meant. It looses some of its humor when I have to explain that having a headache actually means your head hurts. Someday she'll figure out some people just use it as an excuse (or then again maybe she already gets that). BTW - She always has fun playing with Tucker and she did that evening as well.
